El Paso, that was completely insane! Thank you so much for being a part of the sixth annual Sun City Music Festival this Labor Day weekend, we couldn’t do it without you. Much like @carolineenajar said, we’re feeling major withdrawals remembering all the amazing events that transpired during our two-day retreat in Ascarate Park.
You know SCMF did me dirty when: I'm sick af, lost my voice, and sore from head to toe. Overall an amazing weekend
Seeing the smiling faces among the crowd, dancing to the music we love, leaves us with so many beautiful memories year after year. We also want to send a special shout out to everyone who participated in the food drive benefiting our local Salvation Army. It was awesome to incite some good in our neighborhood.
The fun kicked off on Saturday, September 3rd with inspired performances by Skrillex, The Chainsmokers, Gareth Emery, and Joris Voorn to close out the nightly festivities. Day two was everything we wished for and more, with headliners Kaskade, Galantis, Zomboy, and Pleasurekraft whipping up a frenzy during the ultimate performances of Sun City ’16. Meanwhile our Midnight Oasis took us straight to bass heaven and Beatport was a haven for the sounds of the underground. Plus, our official after party featuring a very special Kaskade Redux at 301, with an opening performance by CID was the perfect way to end the weekend!
Don’t worry, we’re sad it’s over too. So until we meet again to vibe with the SCMF tribe, it’s like @emmanuel7513 said, “It’s moments like these that make me glad to be alive! New friends, awesome music, and unforgettable memories!”
Lose Something? Visit Lost & Found
If you seem to have misplaced any personal belongings during the festival, go to the Lost & Found located at Happy House inside Cielo Vista Mall on the first floor in front of JC Penny. Give them a call #915-778-1769 or go visit in person at 8401 Gateway Boulevard West El Paso, TX 79925.
